But without the turbo, it's uncertain what kind of power figures the 2.4-liter may produce; this is the engine in question. The extra movement will likely develop upon that weak 151 lb-ft torque figure. 

Meanwhile, rumors bring a hybrid drivetrain for the GT86, which has an indefinite configuration. Toyota and Subaru might take a mild-hybrid system to keep weight down. However, this restriction would come only if today’s technology is applied. The hybrid setup would be used to supplement torque and power, while also providing an enhancement in fuel economy. Automaker has spent seriously in the next generation of batteries, which could result in a full-hybrid GT86 in, if that setup would prove greater to a mild-hybrid during its progress.
